HELP! 9 weeks old puppies boston terrier fell down the stairs?
The door to the basement was open and my 9 week old puppies boston terrier ran and jumped (flew) to the basement stairs. Its small body affected by the stairs in the middle (stairs are approx. 8 feet of the 1st plant in the basement) and then bounced another 2 times before coming to halt. He hit the stairs twice before landing on the floor. He got up, a little agitated, but seemed to be walking normally and showed no signs of injury. He's not limping and did not cry when I touch your body / ribs / legs. Act normal, nothing weird, hyperactive and always jumps on his toys. I know Boston terriers puppies are strong, but I fear that there could be internal injuries. Any suggestions … if you give aspirin … other remedies home, as a precaution? Not to be able to see the vet at least until tomorrow, because there is no emergency vets where I live.
Never dog given aspirin or any other human medication without consulting your vet first. Your dog is probably totally fine if it seems to be acting normal and not in pain. Fall the stairs is part of being a puppy. Sometimes slips, trips. jumping, or simply fall down the stairs, if you turn your back for 2 seconds. I have a small dog £ 10 that weighed just one pound when I got to him. I have 2 flights of stairs hardwood in my house so it was inevitable that would happen at some point. Once I slipped and fell from the top, literally, turning the head to tail. He stopped at the bottom and was totally fine afterwards. I was scared, but everything was fine. I would not worry.
