4. Assigning Properties and containers. Now that you know what you have and have a reasonable amount, store small items in containers by category and label each container. Tip: Put the photos in the containers so that your child knows where to put things. Let your child help to choose the images and its implementation. This is a fun way to involve your child in learning organizational skills. For larger items, such as large trucks, designate a "place parking "on a shelf or on the floor.
5. Make things accessible and easy to store.
   • Store Items often used that children can use without supervision on the lower shelves that they can access.
   • Use containers without lids frequency items rectangular containers for easy stacking and maximize storage utilization.
6. Be Safe. Store items that require monitoring either reach or locked. For example, if you have very young children, you probably want to get off crayons, paints, etc. If you use shelves tall, to anchor the wall to keep from falling off. Keep heavy items on lower shelves.
7. Teaching children how to save everything. Children do not always know what to do when I tell them to put things away. Take time to teach their children to organize. Explain that the organization of his toys will make it easy to find later and avoid loss of toys. Once you have a system in place, the practice of using the system with them for several days in a row. Help them keep their toys and find to make a game out of it, like performing a "treasure hunt". Ask to find things, or to remove several different elements in their new locations. For example, "Where are your favorite toys talk?" "Where does this animal toy go when you're done playing with it? "Give lots of praise for correct answers.
8. Be creative. Containers not have to be expensive. Use plastic containers, or even empty boxes of tissues. You can even decorate containers turn art materials in a project art.
9. Maintain. Once you have toys compared to a reasonable number and given them each a toy from home, you need to keep the amount of toys they have under control. In the future, keep the limits set to adopt a "give to receive" policy. Thus that every time your child receives a new toy, have them choose one to donate. This is a great way to teach your child the joy of giving. Setting up a donation monthly pick up or drop off with your favorite charity and you never have to do a purge again!
