In the next few minutes you will learn the comparisons and differences between these two rival exercises "at home" exercise programs.

The program P90X training used to be the exercise program that everyone knew from the early morning and late night infomercials. Recently added Beachbody A new program for the game which to some may be considered a rival, this program is Shaun T Insanity.

But what is more intense?

Comparatively both are equal in their own rights, but each training program focuses on a different approach to the gym.

I personally I have used both programs and it gives me the rare opportunity to offer a firsthand look, both in the P90X workout program and Shaun T Insanity. After this article you will be fully equipped with the answers you seek.

What works best? P90X training or madness?

Great questions, although it is difficult to put both training programs side by side, it is not a simple apples to apples comparison, but rather as apples to oranges. Both programs are able to offer a physical challenge, but each has its own approach and their own performance goal. Let me explain.

The program P90X training is a system of 90 days that otherwise could be considered an "in the beginning of boot camp." You need a chin bar, a chair, a set of weights and / or bands, shoes, plus about 1 hour to 1 hour from 6 days a week. Day 7 is an optional extension or the day complete rest.

From firsthand experience, I like to look at P90X as an "all-in-one program. It is designed to only bulk you not only will it help you lose weight, not just balance, and not just cardio.

The P90X workout program just shows a little of everything in Eq. You heavy burden of a day (or light if you wish), you're punching and kicking with Kenpo Karate other day, and on top in the other days that will make 1 ½ hours of yoga for complete mind, body or soul adventure.

You will pass through three phases of 1 month each in P90X each month of switching up. Most cardiovascular exercise, stretching and balancing routines are maintained. The difference is that at each stage of the resistance change training sessions that your muscles are constantly challenged by what will always be receptive to the training session not stagnate.

Insanity Shaun T is a completely different approach. The training program is 60 days and is based solely on Plyometrics, Core, and training. You no heavy lifting, it will not up your chin, you do not need a chair, and workouts are 35-45 minutes of the first phase to 1 hour and 15 minutes into the second phase.

You will need good shoes, preferably a jump mat, and about the perfect way to avoid injury.

You can see that T is Shaun Insanity different P90X So how are comparable?

The training program for insanity, but shorter in length, is based on the maximum stress range of cardio. This means that everything is fast, powerful and coordinated movements. Even going to do push-ups as in P90X but otherwise so you only use your body, gravity and force of will to move forward.

I say this from personal experience, with the madness that literally, by dripping buckets of sweat, really! Just because it's shorter than P90X does not mean it is not as intense.

You will not run in one place for an hour, you are jumping, squatting, balance, and crunching the core. Shaun T is madness in the same level as P90X but the difference is you do not need extra equipment, you will not be lifting weights, and workouts are much more faster.

The madness is more for the leaner look, while ripped P90X will allow more muscle size and strength.

If you have completed P90X will tell you this then. Shaun T madness is like taking P90X Plyometrics, duplication intensity, and they do 6 days a week.

So one is better, Shaun T P90X or madness?

I do not think that is one "better than the other," but what you find are two different approaches to the gym.

P90X is a 90-day program because it has more training but incorporates a slower pace compared to the madness that provides more time to adapt and become stronger. Also you are lifting weights to have more chances to gain size and muscle definition.

Shaun T Insanity is 60 days shorter workouts and pace much faster, you will not be able to adapt as quickly and you will not get good results by pausing in each workout. Madness is a balls to the walls style exercises, is simple and quick, but requires more motivation and energy.

Both training programs have a "mix-it-up" style so that each you change things around the program so that there is no monotony.

One final note, if you have knee or lower body issues of common interest madness can not be for you. It is based on a lot of jumps and really can and fiscal and joints of your knees, if not done correctly. It is an impact far higher compared to P90X. That's something to consider when looking at the two side by side.

Because of its focus Madness, I like to see it this way. If you feel P90X is capable and in good shape, if you can do push-ups, push ups, and if you can handle the cardio interval, then any of the programs is adequate.

If you can not do some or all of the exercises mentioned above, then it is best to avoid the madness until you can at least complete P90X. The madness never Training is a beginner, so if you just take a step back in physical play, throw the ego, start somewhere small and build up.
