Why the 60's and 70's costumes have become so common in our society again? In recent year retro fashion has become enormous. It is, once again, become extremely popular to wear clothes that laughter not only long ago, would have caused. If in the 80s or early 90s who had taken to walking in a flower shirt, over sized sunglasses and a pair of bellbottoms soon have lost everything "street cred" that had been hers.

Maybe it was in the late 90s when groups like 'Pulp' helped introduce the "Geek Chic 'and began a sport as common as 70 suits and argyle sleeveless canvas jackets, it all started. At that time music was becoming increasingly stalled. People get tired of countless anonymous remixes and dance tracks. British music needed identity and put energy back into it. This gave step by the arrival of 'Brit Pop' with bands like 'Oasis' and 'Blur' at the forefront. To put the "British" again in modern music, people began to look again at 60 and 70 that had been characterized as well.

Since the 90s, the scene has conducted Retro strong. We have seen the return of many things that we thought had been forgotten long ago, even with toys and games for children such as 'Twister', 'Ker-Plunk! "And the beloved" Space Hopper ". The music scene, many bands have an image built around 70 costumes and a sound reminiscent of classic bands of the era as "The Who 'or' The Rolling Stones". We had a strong resurgence of punk bands was what finally closed the 1970s.

Television and film have both been heavily influenced by the retro wave. We had apparently reworkings endless movies and thirty to forty-odd years. Clothing stores are full of 70 outfits and accessories. Many young people walk in and follow the latest fashion being totally oblivious to their parents, at the same age, were dressed in a manner virtually identical. Even things like costume parties have influenced.

So is the fashion and design out of ideas? Is it so desperate to get to something else that has had to turn back time? Well, to be fair, Fashion has always been influenced by the designs of the past, to some degree. If you are old enough to remember actually use some of the 70 suits that are so popular again and can be a bit tedious to go through again though. The clothing design can only come with many ideas before they reach a point where it has done almost everything there is to do.

When the obsession with 70 costumes, furniture, toys and music eventually burn itself out, no one knows, but the 80 It is starting to become very big …
