What is a good guide for assessing the classic toy trucks?
Hi, my dad has a lot of years 1950 and 1960, toy trucks that are looking to sell. When would be a good place to find information about the value of the trucks we have? We do not want to "give" the antique and finding you are worth much money. Suggestions with links or sources of book they get a greater chance of having the "best answer" award. Thanks for your help!
Go to Borders books or any library should have one. They are price guides for vintage toys and such. Since they are antique toys in its more than a book instead of a magazine like pricing guides are normal .. They run about 20 to 30 dollars approximately. The good news is you can actually flip through it to see if it suits your needs. You can also try a library once you find the name of the book and ask that instead of buying, just make sure the library has a current version of the book. Then once you get a price for it can auction on eBay. You can start low and set a minimum price on it, which is not sold until reaches the price you want or higher. Or you can make a buy now auction for the price you want. Good Luck
